Managing the HP Avaya SBC Product
The ip command in this menu is what you used to configure the System
Platform Domain-0 (Dom-0), the Management Console (cdom), the
Default Gateway, and the Primary DNS Server with their initial IP
addresses.
Important: Remember that the Dom-0 and cdom IP addresses must be
in the same subnet. Although the initial configuration of these addresses
is made through this CLI, changes to these IP addresses must be made
through the Avaya Aura System Platform web console.
Avaya Aura System Platform Interfaces
There are both command-based and Web interfaces for the Avaya Aura System
Platform.
System Platform Command Shells -- Using your terminal emulator,
SSH to the Dom-0 IP address (192.168.1.2 is the default). You can also SSH
to the cdom IP address (192.168.1.50 is the default). The default User Name
for these interfaces is admin; the default passphrase is admin01.
System Platform Web Console -- On the address line for your web
browser interface, enter https://192.168.1.50/webconsole. If you have
changed the IP address for the cdom, then substitute that address into the
URL.
Note: The Avaya Aura SBC Application web interface is accessed through
the System Platform web interface. See the HP Session Border Controller
zl Module for Avaya Aura Session Border Controller Application Instal-
lation and Getting Started Guide for more information.
For more information on these interfaces, see the Avaya Aura documentation
available on the Avaya web site at http://www.avaya.com/support.
