Monitoring the Module Status
There are several tools that you can use to monitor the status of the HP Avaya
SBC Product. The Status LED on the front of the module gives a good
indication of the general health of the module and software, but requires that
you go to the physical location for the module.
For remote monitoring, you can use switch CLI commands and the Avaya Aura
software interfaces:
Show Services Command – You can get a high-level indication of the
module status from the switch CLI by entering the command show services
<slot-ID> details. Here’s an example of the output you receive:
In this example, you can see that the HP Avaya SBC zl Module in slot I is
running, and the Avaya Aura SBC Application is installed. The Current
Status field and the Status field for the Services zl Module line indicates the
status of the Services OS running on the module. The Status field for the
Avaya Aura power by Acme Packet line indicates the status of the Avaya
Aura SBC Application running on the module. Other possible values for
these status fields are shown in the following table:
