Show Interfaces Commands -- As described in the “Management Tools”
section earlier, there are a number of show interfaces commands that can
be used to display information about the status of the two internal 10 GbE
ports for the HP Avaya SBC zl Module. Here are some examples of the
information that is displayed from those commands:
show interfaces brief <port list>
running
Application initialized and ready
halted
Module is shut down
halted without
shutdown
Module is shut down without a shutdown command
being issued
rebooting Module is rebooting
not responding Application connection to switch is closed (usually
prior to reboot / shutdown)
shutting down Application responding to services <slot-ID> shut-
down command
application
terminated
The Application has shut down in response to the
shutdown command
booting timed out Application failed to signal it’s state 10 minutes
after OS boot started
self-test failed BIOS detected and reported an error
BIOS error Same as above
failed to boot After 5 failed boot attempts, switch holds module
in this state
