4. At the next prompt, enter the command /sbin/service tomcat restart.

by using the cdom IP address in the URL from your web browser.
Restarting the HP Avaya SBC Product
One of the basic troubleshooting procedures is to shut down and restart the
HP Avaya SBC product. Follow these restart procedures:
1. Try stopping and restarting the module:
a. From the switch CLI, enter the services <slot-ID> shutdown command
to shut down the module in the specified slot. For example, for a
module in slot I, enter services I shutdown.
b. When the Status LED on the module goes out, the module is com-
pletely shut down. The show services <slot-ID> details command will
also show that the module is halted.
c. Now enter the command services I boot to reboot the module in slot I.
2. When the module has completely rebooted (the Status LED will be on
solid green), try accessing the Avaya-SBC service again with the services
<slot-ID> name Avaya-SBC command.
If this procedure does not resolve the error condition, then it is likely that the
HP AllianceONE Services zl Module is not operating correctly. Contact your
HP support representative for additional assistance. See “Gathering Hardware
Diagnostic Information” below, for steps to take before contacting support.
Then, see “Contacting Support” on page 21.
Gathering Hardware Diagnostic Information
If you have to contact your HP support representative, you will be asked to
gather some diagnostics information. Before contacting them, please perform
the following steps to collect useful diagnostic information.
Show Tech Commands
For hardware diagnostics, one of the most complete listings of the status and
configuration is provided by the show tech commands. You should start the
logging function for your terminal emulator program, to capture the output of
the commands you are going to execute for these procedures, then execute
show tech from both the switch CLI prompt and from the module CLI prompt:
Switch: From the switch manager context (enable command), enter show
tech.
