Switch CLI
The switch CLI provides show commands that can be used to monitor the HP
Avaya SBC Product:
■ show modules – displays that the HP Avaya SBC zl Module is recognized
by the switch and what switch slots the module is installed in. Remember
that the HP Avaya SBC zl Module occupies two vertically-adjacent slots
in the switch, and that the higher-lettered slot is the one to use when
executing slot-based commands to investigate the status of the module.
Here is an example output of that command:
Notice that the output shows the HP AllianceONE Services zl Module
(ProCurve J9567A ONE Ext Svs zl Module) in slot I, and slot G is an expansion
slot (>Module C Extension Slot) for this module. For the purposes of the HP
zl switch CLI, the module is in slot I.
If the HP zl Switch does not recognize the Extended Services zl Module,
ensure that the switch is running software version K.14.60 or greater. To
find out what software version is running on the switch, enter the com-
mand:
hostswitch# show version
