Item Descri
p
tion
Interface Name
Specify the interface to which the policy is to be applied.
Policy Name
Select the QoS policy to be applied.
Direction
Specify the direction in which the policy is to be applied.
Inbound—Applies the policy to the incoming packets on the specified interface.
Outbound—Applies the policy to the outgoing packets on the specified interface.
NOTE:
To apply a QoS policy to the inbound direction of a VLAN interface, you must apply
it in VLAN interface view. To the outbound direction, you must apply it in interface
view of each physical interface of the VLAN.

Configuring port bandwidth limit is to set the maximum available bandwidth on a port. This setting is
used in place of actual physical port bandwidth for bandwidth check when CBQ enqueues packets.
If no maximum available bandwidth is configured for an interface, the bandwidth used for CBQ
calculation varies by the interface type following these rules:
If the interface is a physical one, the actual baudrate or rate applies.
If the interface is a template interface, a VT interface for example, 1000000 kbps applies.
