Interface Name Interface name.
IP Address
IP address of the interface.
In case of IP unnumbered, the IP address of the borrowed interface is displayed.
Area ID ID of the area to which the interface belongs.
Cost Cost for the interface.
Network Type Network type for the interface.
DR Priority DR priority for the interface.
State
Current state of the interface:
Down—Indicates that no packet is sent or received through the interface.
Loopback—Indicates that the interface is in loopback state. A loopback
interface can only collect interface information.
Waiting—Indicates that the interface starts to send and receive Hello packets
and attempts to find the DR and BDR on the network.
P-2-P—Indicates that the interface will send Hello packets at the hello
interval, and attempts to establish adjacency with the peer router.
DR—Indicates that the router is a designated router (DR) of the network.
BDR—Indicates that the router backup designated router (BDR) of the
network.
DROther—Indicates that the router is neither a DR nor a BDR of the network.
Displaying OSPF neighbor information
1. Select Network > Routing Management >OSPF from the navigation tree.
The OSPF configuration page appears.
2. After you complete OSPF area configurations, click Show Peer on the Show Information tab.
The OSPF neighbor information is displayed.
