3. Modify the member ports of the VLAN as described in Table 4.

Displays the ID of the VLAN to be modified.
Description
Set the description of the VLAN.
By default, the description of a VLAN is its VLAN vlan-id, where vlan-id is the ID of the
VLAN. For example, the default description of VLAN 100 is VLAN 0100.
Port
Untagged
Member
Set the member type of the port to be modified in the VLAN.
Find the port to be modified and select the Untagged Member, Tagged Member, or
Not a Member option for the port:
Untagged Member—The port sends the traffic of the VLAN with the VLAN tag
removed.
Tagged Member—The port sends the traffic of the VLAN without removing the
VLAN tag.
Not a Member—The port is removed from the VLAN.
When you configure an access port as a tagged member of a VLAN, the link type of the
port is automatically changed into hybrid.

Modifying a port
1. Select Network > VLAN > Port from the navigation tree.
The page as shown in Figure 20 appears.

2. In the Operation column, click the icon for the port to be modified to enter the page for
modifying the port, as shown in Figure 21.

3. Modify the VLANs for the port as described in Table 5.
4. Click Apply.
