Software Fixes in Releases ST.1.0.090213 - ST.1.1.100330
Release ST.1.0.090603
PR_17313 — For a VLAN association, the user can specify DHCP as a method for getting
an IP address for the TMS zl Module. If the user goes in and edits the VLAN association and
changes the IP address method to a Static IP address, the DHCP client process still runs in
the background and can overwrite the static IP address.
PR_18770 — It was possible that a management denial of service would happen with the
TMS zl Module if the httpd stopped or crashed. Now the httpd is added to a monitoring
watchdog service that will automatically restart the httpd if it stops.
PR_19098 — TMS zl Module was not showing any log entries that were generated due to
multicast traffic.
PR_38256 — Using the Web browser interface, disabling PIM on a VLAN did not also disable
IGMP on the VLAN.
PR_38257 — On the HA configuration page in the Web browser interface, if you change the
Multicast IP and then refresh the HA page, you lose your changes. You must save and reboot
for the changes to take effect.
PR_39059 — Time zone specification in show time was inconsistent between the switch and
TMS zl Module. Changed the TMS zl Module to match the switch's method of displaying time
to avoid confusion.
PR_39493 — When editing a routing protocol that has authentication set, if the
authentication value is not provided, an error message is displayed. However, the changes
that were made during an edit were still accepted, even though an error message was
displayed.
PR_40662 — Log entries with the following message identifiers: 630, 631, 632, and 633 are
marked as critical when they are not considered critical messages. They should be a warning.
These messages occurred during port scan related activities and have been disabled at the
present time.
PR_40780 — In the command line interface (CLI), the wrong number for the total number
of connections in all zones is displayed in the connection-settings help text. The command is:
(tms-module-<slot-ID>:config)#connection-settings help
The output of this command would show 500000 instead of the correct value of 600000.
Firewall
PR_11023 — Log messages tracking the login and logout of authenticated users are not
generated by the firewall.
PR_37837 — Log messages with message IDs of 657 and 625 are logged as critical when
they should not be critical.
