4. In the Key Size field, enter the key size, from 1,024 through 2,048 bytes.
5. Click the OK button.
Transferring Keys
You can transfer key pairs to a secure location for archiving. Transferring keys
is recommended to ensure that server certificate key information is available
if problems are encountered with the switch and this data needs to be
retrieved. Also, if you transfer a trustpoint to a different device, the device
requires the associated key pair.
You can transfer keys either:
from the Wireless Edge Services xl Module to an FTP server, a TFTP, or
the local disk of the workstation running the Web browser
from an external server or the local disk to the Wireless Edge Services xl
Module
Transferring Keys from the Wireless Edge Services xl Module to a
Server or Local Disk. To transfer a key from the Wireless Edge Services xl
Module to either an FTP or TFTP server or a local disk, complete these steps:
1. Select Management > Certificate Management and click the Keys tab
2. Click the Transfer Keys button. The Transfer Keys screen is displayed.
