Packets Out Dropped—number of outgoing packets dropped. Conditions
that result in dropped packets include:
The output queue assigned to the interface is saturated.
Collisions have occurred.
Packets Out Error—number of outgoing packets with errors such as mal-
formed packets.
To view more detailed information about a VLAN, select that VLAN and click
the Details button at the bottom of the screen. The Interface Statistics screen
is displayed.

As Figure 6-5 shows, the Interface Statistics screen lists additional information
about the VLAN. In particular, you can use this screen to monitor the broadcast
and multicast traffic being transmitted on the VLAN. The Input NonUnicast
packets field reports the incoming broadcast and multicast traffic, and the
Output NonUnicast packets field lists the outgoing broadcast and multicast
traffic.
You can click the Refresh button to update the information displayed on the
screen.
