3-8 Working with Ports
The general options you can specify vary with the type of port:
• TCP/IP — Port Name, IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway
• WinLink — Port Name, Description, Location
• Hot Folders — Port Name
Route
The Route tab shows the possible routes that a print job may take. A
line shows the currently-defined route. All jobs entering the RIP by this
port will follow this route.
• Route the port by clicking on an icon in the queues, printers, filters,
and RIP Saver columns.
