• MaxFetchCount=50: Number of archived messages that are retrieved from the RISS at one
time. This is an adm inistrator/diagnostic setting and should be modified only at the direction of
HP technical support.
• LogToDisk=False: Replicates the status information reported in the RISS O ffline Cache Status
window to a log file on the local file system . The file that contains this information is stored in
the plug-in installation folder with a CacheMgr_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.log file name. This is an
administrator/diagnostic setting and should be modified only at the direction of HP technical
support.
• ShowSysTrayIcon=True: Indicates to the Offline Cache Manager whether the status icon
should be displayed in the system tray. By default, the system tray icon is displayed. This is an
administrator/diagnostic setting and should be modified only at the direction of HP technical
support.
RISS retrieval related registry entries
These settings are used for offline cache management, message export, and retrieval of m essages
within the Outlook User Interface itself.
For [HKLM\
Software\Hewlett-Packard\Outlook PlugIn\PlugInURLs]:
• FetchURL0=http://HOSTNAME:Specifies the RISS host name or IP address (together with
the HTTP protocol) used to retrieve tombstoned messages. The HOSTNAME must be changed
to indica
te the RISS host name or IP address. The RISS host n ame and HTTP protocol are
user-config urable settings.
• FetchURLX=: X represents a number in the range of 1 to 9. If the plug-in fails to retrieve a
tombston
ed message using FetchURL0, it attempts to retrieve the message using FetchURL1
through FetchURL9 sequentially.
Search and export related registry entries
For [HKLM\Software\Hewlett-Packard\Outlook PlugIn\Search]:
• AllowExternalFolderSupport=True:WhensettoFalse, the user is restricted from saving
PST files to an external location. This is an adm inistrator/diagnostic setting and should be
modified only at the direction of HP technical support.
• DefaultFolder=Default: The Message Export Facility downloads archived messages into a
folder by this name within the generated PST file(s). This is a user-configurable setting.
• PSTFileFolder=C:\PSTFiles:FilesystemfolderusedtostoretheindividualPSTfiles when
UseExternalFolderSupport=True. Thisisauser-configurable set ting.
• PSTFilePrefix=ComplianceSearch:Defines the file name prefixusedwhencreating
the individual PST files when UseExternalFolderSupport=True.Eachfile begins with
the prefixspecified here and have an ordinal appended to the file name. For example:
ComplianceSearch_001.pst, ComplianceSearch_002.pst, and so forth. This is
auser-config urable set ting.
• RetrievalHost=HOSTNAME: Deprecated an d is no longer used.

RetrievalURL=http://#HOST#/externalAPI/servlet/DocumentRe-
trievalServlet.asp?documentURL=#REF#: Deprecated and is no longer used.
• SearchURL=http://HOSTNAME:Specifies the URL the plug-in uses to launch the RISS Web
User Interface for search purposes. The HOSTNAME must be changed to indicate the RISS DNS
name or IP address. This is a user-configurable setting.
• UseExternalFolderSupport:Specifies whether the M essage Export Facility
allows the user to save PST Files to an external location. The default is True. When
UseExternalFolderSupport=True, the Message Expor t Facility saves the generated PST
files prefixed with PSTFilePrefix to the folder specified by PSTFileFolder. This is a user-c on fi gurable
setting.
