Description
Re-schedule the next
check of a specic
service
Reschedules next check of service. Nagios requeues service to be checked
at specied time.
If you select the Force checkbox,Nagiosforcesaservicecheckregardlessofwhat
time scheduled check occurs and whether or not checks are enabled for service.

Submits a passive check result for service. This command is par ticularly useful for
resetting security-related services to OK states after they have been handled.

Stop accepting passive
checks for this service
Stops Nagios from accepting passive service check results found in the external
command le for service. All passive check results found for service are ignored.

Adding comments for specicservices
If you work with other administrators, you m ight nd it useful to share information about a host or service
that is
having problems.
1. In the Service Comments section, click the Add n ew comm ent link (
). The External Command
Interface appears.
2. In the
Command Options section, enter the following information:
•HostName
•Service
•Auth
or (Your Name)
Comment
3. To retain comments between N agios restarts, select the Persistent check box.
4. Click Comm it to save changes, or click Reset to clear input elds.
