PST Import Monitor automatically collects statistics according to the Refresh Interval specied.
The default is 10 seconds. You can change the automatic refresh interval to any whole
number between 1 and 60 seconds.
To reset a failed p rocess, select Failed under Active Processes to display a list of all failed
processes, right-click the failed process, and click Reset, as shown in the following gure.

Depending on the reasons the process failed, resetting a failed process may not correct the problem.
However, PST Importer tries to reprocess it as directed.

Use PST Import Monitor to generate a PST Import report in HTML format. You can then import the report
into a spreadsheet for analysis or progress tracking if needed.
1. Under Active Processes, select a process option, and click Report. A dialog box appears.
2. Specify where to save the report, and enter a le name. The default directory is
<install_path>\Reports.
3. Click Save.

At ea ch refresh interval, status information is automatically saved to <install_path>/LogFiles/
PSTImporterStats.log. This is useful if the installation has its own separate process that monitors
import progress. Modif y the following RISS PST Importer.ini settings to specify a different path
and le name for the report:

When the MonitorPath is specied, PST Importer creates the le specied by UNCPath. This le contains
stat
istics displayed i n PST Import Monitor. An external process ca n monitor and parse this le to
determine the import status.
