HP StorageWorks Reference Information Storage System V1.4 Administrator Guide (T3559-96027, March 2006)

1. Navigate to the amt/bin directory and double-click amt.bat. The Login dialog box appears.
2. Enter the following:
•UserName:Admin
User Password: Admin password
PCC NAT Host: IP address or DNS Name to RISS
PCC Admin Name: admin
PCC Admin Password: Platform Control Center (PCC) Admin password
3. Click OK to log on.
4. IntheAccountDataSourceareaoftheAMTwindow,selecttheFrom File option.
NOTE:
DonotselecttheFrom Exchange Server option. Choosing this option imports user
accounts from an Exchange server using LDAP. This option has been replaced by DAS
and is no longer supported through A MT.
5. IntheImportFilePathbox,clickSelect a Path or enter the path and le name of the .csv le you
created in the previous section, Exporting user account information from E xchange.
6. In the Domain Name list, select the dom ain associated with the user accounts. Only one domain
can be selected.
7. IntheExportFilePathbox,usethedefault,clickSelect a Path, or enter the path and le name of the
XML account le you are creating.
8. Optional:Tosavethesettingstouseagainlater,clickSave Conguration.
9. Click Create Account File.TheConrm Account conguration dialog box appears.
10. Optional: To immediately load the user account information into the RISS database, select the Load
into data base when complete check box. The loading process takes about one hour for 50,000
accounts. To verify the results, log on to PAM.
You can choose to load the data at a later time. See Loading user account information for more
information.
11. Click OK.
12. If prompted, enter the Exchange server information in the dialog boxes and click OK.
13. When the n ew XML account le has been generated, you can view or edit the le. Notethatthe
user passwords are the same as the user names.
Loading user account information
If you have not yet loaded the data into RISS, complete the instructions in this section.
To load user account information:
1. From the A MT window, verify the XML acco unt le is specied in the Export le Path box. If
necessary, click Select a Path or enter the path and le name of the XML account le. If you have not
yet created an account le, complete the steps in the previous section, Creating XML account les.
2. Click Load Acco unts.
3. To verify the results, log on to PAM.
