Creating the Admin/Password ac count
The security tool, SetAdmin.exe, allows the administrator to set the Admin/Password that is required to
gain access to delete items on the RISS backend. The Admin/Password must be the same as the account
created in the RISS backend.
To set the Admin/Password account, run SetAdmin.exe. Thisisaconsoleapplicationthatdoesnot
require scheduling. It provides a dialog to enter Admin/Password values. Be sure to remember the
values, as a security precaution they c a nno t be read back. The SetAdmin dialog shows only stars in
place of the actual values and includes a status line to indicates whether the values are actually set or not.
Note: You must set a Password value to avoid an “Admin password invalid” error condition when
using the delete functionality.
