w
Use this view to see the status of each host in a single host group or all host groups. For each host, this
view shows number of services that have each service status value.
The Host Status Totals and Service Status Totals charts are the same as those of the Status Summa ry
view . See "Over
view" on page 30.
The Service Ove
rview For <hostgroup(s)> chart provides information about status values of hosts
and services in displayed host groups.
Table 39 Service Overview view features
Feature
Description
chart title
Host group name (for example, Smart Cells) and its abbreviation (for example,
sc). Click the chart title to open the host group's Service Detail view.
Host
Hosts in host group.
Status
Host's current status value. See "Host and service status values"onpage29.
Services
Number of services running on host having each status value (counts of zero are
omitted). For example, 6 OK means six services are functioning correctly.

Displays host's Host Information view. See "Host Information" on page 100.
• Same as clicking host name (see Host, previous row).

• The Status Summary view information is a subset of the Service Overview view information.
The Status Summary view provides only the number of hosts having ea ch status value. See
"Overview" on page 30. The Service Overview view provides status value of e ach host. Use
the Service Overview for information about individual hosts.
