Creating trends
reports
1. Select a report type: Host or Service.
2. Select a specifi
chostorservice.
3. Select report options:
• Report Period: Select a predefined period, or select *CUSTOMREPORTPERIOD*and specify
custom report
start and end dates.
• Assume Initial States: Select Yes to assume any undetermined status value is really the First
Assumed State. Selecting No is equivalent to selecting Yes,andselectingUnspecified as
theFirstAss
umed State.
• Assume State Retention: Select Yes to use last recorded status value before PCC startup as
status value assumed for periods when monitoring was down.
•FirstAssum
ed State: Select a status value assumed for periods when monitoring was down.

• Backtracked Archives: Not used
• Suppress image map: Select to inhibit zooming into the State History chart by clicking
the status
color.
• Suppress popups: Select to inhibit display of tooltips in State History char t status bars.
4. Click Create Report.

time periods.
