• Additional storage arrays are supported. See the SPOCK website at http://www.hp.com/storage/
spock for a list of supported arrays. Site registration is required.
• Added more operating system support (for example, Solaris 10). See SPOCK for the list of supported
operating systems.
• Defined maximum distances
• Asynchronous mirrors are supported up to 150 ms one-way separation (still iSCSI only), and
minimum bandwidth set to 3 Mbps.
• Synchronous mirrors supports up to 0.5 ms one-way separation (still Fibre Channel only).
NOTE:
Separation of 150 ms is approximately 30,000 cable-kilometers, and 0.5 ms is about 100
cable-kilometers.

For a new or upgrade installation of Virtualization Services Manager or Data Path Module software,
contact HP Support for instructions.
Host operating systems and multipath drivers

multipath drivers. Site registration is required.
To obtain the HP MPIO Full Feature DSM and DSM Manager:
1. Go to http://www.hp.com and click Support & Drivers.
2. In the Step 1 area, select the Download drivers and software (and firmware) option. The Step 2
field becomes available.
3. In the “For product” field of the Step 2 area, enter DSM and click Go. A screen listing other
multi-path software for Windows is displayed.
4. Click Windows MPIO DSM for SAN Virtualization Services Platform.
The following auto-failover and recovery tools are not supported:
• CLX
• MetroCluster
• VMware's Site Recovery Manager
