Corrective actionProblem
Check the status of the EVA or MSA.
Check the VSM interface as to whether the virtual
disk is listed as a partial status. Partial status means
that one or more of the EVA or MSA virtual disks
that make up a VSM virtual disk are not accessible
to VSM. If it is a partial status, check zoning and
LUN masking to correct the problem.
Check the DPM logs as to whether the virtual disk
is listed in a PART status. A PART status means that
one or more of the EVA or MSA virtual disks that
make up the VSM virtual disk is not accessible to
the DPM.
Check DPM presentation to the host server.

Corrective actionProblem
Verify that the correct preferred path is configured
with HP Command View EVA or the ACU for each
LUN that is exposed. If so, reboot the VSM server.
If the preferred path is incorrect, unpresent the
virtual disks to VSM, rescan with VSM to remove
the virtual disks, fix the presentation mode on HP
Command View EVA or the ACU, re-present the
LUNs to VSM, and rescan with VSM.
Back-end LUNs cannot be seen, even after a rescan
using the VSM GUI.
