19 Working with folders
Virtualization Services Manager (VSM) enables you to create folders in order to manage your entities.
Many users find it difficult to locate specific entities because the VSM client can contain thousands of
entities of each entity type. Folders provide a powerful tool for organizing your entities. You can
customize your own folders in a hierarchical folder structure with multiple subfolders. You can add
entities to folders and access entities from within folders.

Viewing the folders list
The folders list displays a list of all folders and subfolders on the local domain.
To view the folders list: In the navigation tree, expand the Folders node. The folders list appears in
the list area.
The following properties are displayed, by default, for each folder and subfolder.

A free text display field. To modify the text that appears here, right-click the virtual
disk and select Manage > Edit Comment. You can use this field for any purpose.
