Redistributing storage elements within a DPM group
The DPMs in a DPM group may each function as the primary DPM for different storage elements.
Furthermore, a number of these storage elements may be failed-over across the DPM group to their
respective secondary DPMs at the same time. You can use the Redistribute command to fail back each
of the failed-over storage elements to their respective primary DPMs.
To redistribute the storage elements of a DPM group:
1. In the navigation tree, expand the Entities node.
2. Click the DPM group node. The DPM group list appears in the list area.
3. Right-click the DPM group for which you want to redistribute storage elements.
4. Select Manage > Redistribute. A confirmation screen appears
5. Click Finish. The storage elements of the DPM group are failed back to their respective primary
DPMs in the DPM group.
