Snapclone group information—Security tab
The Security tab displays the access permissions of users and user groups for the selected snapclone
group. For information about configuring permissions, see
Changing security permissions for entities” on page 339.

An icon indicating either a user or user group. Possible values:
—A user.
—A user group.
Type
The name of the user or user group.Name
The type of access permitted to the user or user group. Possible values:
Full—The user or user group has permission to delete and modify the snapclone
group.
Modify—The user or user group has permission to modify the virtual disk but
not to delete the snapclone group.
Read—The user or user group has permission to view virtual disk information
but not to modify or delete the snapclone group.
None—The user or user group does not have permission to access the snap-
clone group.

snapclone group and the reason for each. See the release notes for a current list of disabled operations.

Creating snapclone groups
A snapclone group defines a source element for a snapclone. A source element can be any of the
following:
A virtual disk. The following conditions apply:
The virtual disk status must be Normal.
The virtual disk must not belong to a VDG.
The virtual disk must not be a temporary virtual disk.
The virtual disk must not be presented to a VSM server.
The virtual disk must not be a SAN API virtual disk.
