2. Select Manage > Manage Data Path Module > Change active Data Path Module. A confirmation
screen appears.
3. Click Finish. The active DPM is switched, unless the second DPM that supports the configuration
is not available.
Renaming VDGs
You can rename a VDG if no hosts are currently assigned permission to access the VDG.
To rename a VDG:
1. Right-click the VDG you want to rename.
2. Select Manage > Rename. The Rename wizard opens to the New name screen.
3. In the New name field, enter the new name.
4. Click Next. A confirmation screen appears.
5. Click Finish. The VDG is renamed.
Configuring VDG cluster support
This section describes how to configure VDG cluster support and cluster resources. When multiple
hosts have permission to access the VDG, you need to configure the VDG to support cluster usage
for proper behavior of the SVSP system. The VDG members must also be configured as cluster resources
in the cluster application.
To configure the VDG to support cluster usage:
1. Right-click the VDG.
2. Select Manage > Set Clustered. The Set Clustered screen appears.
3. Check the Support cluster option.
4. Click Next. A confirmation screen appears.
5. Click Finish. All VDG members are configured for cluster support.
Deleting VDGs
When you delete a VDG, you can also delete the VDG members at the same time. Deletion of each
member is only supported if the deletion operation is not disabled for the member for any reason.
To delete a VDG:
1. Right-click the VDG that you want to delete.
2. Select Delete. The Delete wizard opens to the Delete VDGroup with/without members screen.
