2. Click the HBA node. The HBAs list appears in the list area.

The following properties are displayed for each HBA.

DescriptionProperty
The World Wide Port Name (WWPN) of the HBA, as detected by the VSM when
the HBA is connected to the SAN fabric.
The icon next to the name reflects the status of the HBA and the number of access
paths through which VSM can access the HBA:
The HBA has a single access path and present status.
The HBA has a single access path and absent status.
The HBA has a single access path and failed status.
The HBA has multiple access paths and present status.
The HBA has multiple access paths and absent status.
The HBA has multiple access paths and failed status.
NOTE:
Since HP SVSP requires dual fabrics, all HBAs installed into a host should
have at least two paths from the host to the DPMs.
Information about each access path is displayed in the Access Path tab. For more
information, see HBA information--Access Path tab on page 173.
Name
The name of the host or DPM on which the HBA is installed. If the HBA is installed
on a host that is not yet defined, this column displays the same value as the Name
column.
Group Name
The vendor of the HBA.Vendor
