Async mirror group information—Source Domain's PiT tab
The Source Domain’s PiTs tab displays the mirror PiTs on the group source element. The tab shows
this information only on the domain in which the source element resides. On domains to which the
group is mirrored, this tab is empty.

The status of the PiT.
• Init—The PiT is being created.
• Normal—The status of all the virtual disks from which the PiT is constructed is
normal. This includes an original virtual disk, the temporary virtual disk created
for the PiT, and any PiTs and snapshots between the original virtual disk and
the PiT in the hierarchy.
• Partial—The status of one of the virtual disks from which the PiT is constructed
is partial.
Status
The current state of the PiT. Possible values:
• Create—The temporary virtual disk created to hold future modifications to the
virtual disk data is in the process of creation. The reallocation table is not yet
cleared.
• Normal— The temporary virtual disk completed initialization and is in a normal
operational state.
• Resync—The PiT is being deleted. The modifications held in the temporary
virtual disk are merged back into the lower level which may be a virtual disk,
snapshot or an earlier PiT.
• Rollback—The virtual disk, snapshot, or VDG on which the PiT was created,
is in the process of rollback. The PiT (or multiple PiTs in the case of a VDG) is
being deleted without the modifications of the temporary virtual disk being
written to the lower level, which may be an earlier PiT, a virtual disk, or a
snapshot. For more information, see “Rolling back virtual disks and
VDGs” on page 237.
• Absent—A transitional state in which PiT deletion (resync) is complete but the
VSM server is waiting for a final acknowledgement from the host before it de-
letes the temporary virtual disks used for the deleted PiT.
• Restore Snapshot—The virtual disk, VDG, or snapshot on which the PiT was
created is in the process of restore of snapshot. For more information, see
“Restoring from snapshots” on page 239.
• Init—The PiT is being initialized. (The reallocation table on the temporary virtual
disk is being created and initialized.)
State
The percentage progress of the resynchronization process that takes place when
the PiT is deleted.
When a PiT is deleted, the data from the temporary virtual disk that was created
for the PiT is merged back into the lower level which may be the virtual disk or
snapshot on which the PiT was created or an older PiT.
Synchronization Level
The time at which the PiT was created.Creation Time
