To release the user PiTs on an async mirror group source element:
1. Right-click the group.
2. Select Manage > Release source User PiTs. A confirmation screen appears.
3. Click Finish. The user PiTs on the group source element are now handled as standard mirror PiTs.
To release a specific user PiT:
1. Right-click the user PiT that you want to release. Do one of the following to locate the PiT:
• To release the PiT on the source domain: Locate the PiT in the Source Domain’s PiTs tab for
the group.
• To release the PiT on a specific destination domain: Connect to the destination domain. Click
the Virtual Disks node in the navigation tree. Locate the destination virtual disk of the task in
the Virtual Disks list. Locate the user PiT you want to release in the PiT tab of that destination
virtual disk.
2. Select Manage > Release User PiT. The Release User PiT wizard opens to a confirmation screen.
3. Click Finish. The user PiT is released.

Modifying async mirror groups
You can modify certain group parameters for an existing async mirror group.
To modify an async mirror group:
1. Right-click the async mirror group.
2. Select Manage > Set parameters. The Set parameters wizard opens to the Enter Async Mirror
Group parameters screen.
