CIM_InstModification
Class introduction
CIM_InstModification is a lifecycle indication. CIM_InstModification instances are generated by a
provider to inform that an instance under the provider's management has changed one of its properties.
To deliver an indication, the provider needs to create an instance of the indication and leverage a
CIMOM specific function to deliver the indication to the CIMOM. The CIMOM will forward the
indication to CIM clients.
CIM_InstModifcation instances are transient, meaning they only exist temporarily, and have meaning
only within the context of indication delivery. Indications have no keys, and they cannot be accessed
using any Intrinsic Instance functions. CIM_InstDeletion Instances can be correlated by an optional
IndicationIdentifier property.
