PiT capacity planning
When looking into PiT capacity planning it is important to understand the Recovery Point Objective
(RPO). That is, what is the frequency of PiT creation and the retention period (how long do you
need to keep the PiT around). Some experimentation may need to be done to calculate the average
rate of change of a volume. It is this amount that dictates the size of the PiT.
