Check the status of the EVA or MSA.
Check the VSM interface as to whether the virtual disk
is listed as a partial status. Partial status means that one
or more of the EVA or MSA virtual disks that make up
a VSM virtual disk are not accessible to VSM. If it is a
partial status, check zoning and LUN masking to correct
the problem.
Check the DPM logs as to whether the virtual disk is
listed in a PART status. A PART status means that one
or more of the EVA or MSA virtual disks that make up
the VSM virtual disk is not accessible to the DPM.
Check DPM presentation to the host server.
Server I/O to virtual disk fails
Check the status of the EVA or MSA.
Check the VSM interface as to whether the virtual disk
is listed as a partial status. Partial status means that one
or more of the EVA or MSA virtual disks that make up
a VSM virtual disk are not accessible to VSM.
Check for storage pool capacity. Low or no pool
capacity can cause cloning or replication tasks to fail.
Check the EVA or MSA presentation.
VSM I/O fails/snapclone fails/Continuous Access
replication fails
Check your zoning.
Reboot the DPMs as needed.
Reboot the VSMs as needed.
Check if DPM licenses have been installed.
VSM does not see the DPMs
