Troubleshooting tips
Checking the OEM status
There are separate procedures for checking the OEM status, depending on the operating system used.
Windows
1. Log in to the OEM on the OEM server.
2. Navigate to the All Targets page using the Targets > All Targets link.
3. Check the status of the agent in the list of All Targets.
4. If the agent is up (marked by a green upwards arrow), go ahead with the plug-in installation
procedure or view the plug-in metrics and reports if it is already installed.
5. If the agent is not up, log out of the OEM. Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
Stop and restart the OracleAgent10gAgent service. Follow the steps again from step 1.
