2. Identify all virtual disks presented to the host. There is a tab in the VSM GUI that shows all
presented virtual disks. See the “Working with hosts” chapter of the HP StorageWorks SAN
Virtualization Services Platform Manager user guide.
3. Stop all remote and local replication (mirroring) tasks that involve any of the selected virtual disks.

4. For each virtual disk identified in step 2, delete all PiTs and snapshots. See the “Using snapshots

5. Overwrite or reformat the entire volume.
6. Dismount from the server and unpresent from the domain. See the “Working with virtual disks”
chapter of the HP StorageWorks SAN Virtualization Services Platform Manager user guide.
7. Delete the virtual disk. See the “Working with virtual disks” chapter of the HP StorageWorks
SAN Virtualization Services Platform Manager user guide.
8. Delete the host from the hosts table. See the “Working with hosts” chapter of the HP StorageWorks
SAN Virtualization Services Platform Manager user guide.
9. Remove all DPM-to-server zone sets.
