Change preferred path (change the primary path through which virtual disks are presented to a
host)
Change LUN range (change the range of LUNs used by the SVSP domain to present virtual disks
through a DPM to a host)
Add and remove host HBAs (add HBAs to a host in situations in which the VSM cannot learn
automatically that an HBA has been added to the host and remove HBAs from a host to inform
VSM that a given HBA is no longer installed on a given host)
Manage host online/offline state (switch a host to offline state to attempt the recovery of a host
that is not functioning properly)
Delete hosts (delete hosts when they are physically absent and will not be reconnected to the do-
main)

Viewing the hosts list
The hosts list displays all the hosts exposed to the local SVSP domain. The hosts list also includes VSM
servers.
To view the hosts list:
1. In the navigation tree, expand the Entities node.
