DPM group information—Virtual disk tab
The Virtual Disk tab displays information about each VSM storage element that the selected DPM
group exposes to a host, including virtual disks.

The type of VSM storage element. Possible values:

—A virtual disk.

—A VDG.
•
—A snapshot.
•
—A VDG snapshot.
•
—A synchronous mirror group.
Type
The name of the VSM storage element.Name
The status of the VSM storage element.Status
Indicates that the VSM storage element is being exposed by the primary DPM in
the DPM group.

The Security tab displays the access permissions of users and user groups for the selected DPM group.

An icon indicating either a user or user group. Possible values:

—A user.

—A user group.
Type
The name of the user or user group.Name
The type of access permitted to the user or user group. Possible values:
• Full—The user or user group has permission to modify and delete the DPM
group.
• Modify—The user or user group has permission to modify the DPM group but
not to delete the DPM group.
• Read—The user or user group has permission to view DPM group information
but not to modify or delete the DPM group.
• None—The user or user group does not have permission to access the DPM
group.
