Snapclone group information—Snapclone Task tab
The Snapclone Task tab displays the tasks running on the selected snapclone group.
Table 101 Snapclone group Snapclone Task tab field
DescriptionProperty
The row number.No
The name of the snapclone task.Name
The status of the snapclone task. Possible values:
• Init— Indicates the task is in the initial stage immediately after definition. During
this stage, a PiT is created on the source element, the destination virtual disk
is created, and a snapshot is created for any hosts that are assigned permission
to access the destination virtual disk immediately after task definition.
• Normal—The task is active and a snapclone is in progress.
• Failed—Indicates that the snapclone task encountered a problem. The problem
may be failure to create the destination virtual disk; failure to create the PiT on
the source virtual disk; failure to create a snapshot for a host that has assigned
permission to access the destination virtual disk; or the VSM server encountered
a problem writing to the destination.
• Suspended—A user suspended the task. The VSM server is not currently writing
data to the destination. The PiT and snapshots that were created for the snap-
clone task remain in place. If the user allows the task to resume, the task picks
up from the point at which it was suspended.
• Deleting—The task is being deleted. If a host had permission to access the
destination virtual disk while the task was in process, the snapshot that was
presented to the host during the snapclone operation is converted to a PiT and
then resynchronized into the destination virtual disk. If the task was deleted
before it was complete, the destination virtual disk is deleted. In all cases, the
PiT on the source element is deleted.

source element is a virtual disk or a snapshot, this value is 1. If the source element
is a VDG or a VDG snapshot, this value is the number of members in the VDG or
VDG snapshot.
