permission for an entity.

You can:
Add users or user groups to entities
Remove users or user groups from entities
Specify security permissions for entities
You may find permission templates a more efficient way of configuring security permissions for entities.
Permissions templates enable you to save sets of configured permissions and apply them to entities.
You can also use permissions already configured for an entity to create a permission template. For
information about working with permission templates, see
Working with permission templates” on page 341.
Adding users or user groups to entities
When you add a user or user group to an entity, the user receives Read permission. You can change
the permission type. You can add multiple users and user groups at once.
To add users or user groups to an entity:
1. Do one of the following:
Right-click an entity and select Security.
Select an entity and click in the toolbar.
The Security dialog box appears.
