2. Click the Stripe Set node. The stripe sets list appears in the list area. The following properties are
displayed for each stripe set. A partial set of properties appears in the list area. The full set of
properties appears in the Properties tab.

DescriptionProperty
The name of the stripe set.Name
The status of the stripe set. Possible values:
Status
Normal—All of the back-end LUs in the stripe set are present and accessible.
Partial —At least one of the back-end LUs in the stripe set is either absent
or inaccessible.
Absent—All back-end LUs in the stripe set are either absent or inaccessible.
NOTE:
Even if the VSM status of the stripe set is partial or absent, there
is a possibility that data stored across the stripe set is still accessible
to hosts. You can check from the host side if the allocated virtual
disk is accessible.
The total capacity of the stripe set. The capacity of a stripe set is equal to the
number of back-end LUs in the stripe set multiplied by the capacity of the
smallest back-end LU in the stripe set.
Capacity
The amount by which a body of data is divided for distribution across the
back-end LUs in a stripe set. The size is fixed at 1 MB.
Stripe Set Size
A free text display field. To modify the text that appears here, right-click the
storage pool and select Manage > Edit Comment. You can use this field for
any purpose.
Comment
The capacity of one sector of physical storage. The sector size is 512 bytes
and is common to all open systems.
