Redundant Ethernet Configuration
The use of redundant network components is shown in Figure 2-1, which
is an Ethernet configuration.

In Linux configurations, the use of symmetrical LAN configurations is
strongly recommended, with the use of redundant hubs or switches to
connect Ethernet segments. The software bonding configuration should
be identical on each node, with the active interfaces connected to the
same hub or switch.
