The Serviceguard for Linux Oracle Toolkit is a separate set of shell scripts that allow
you to configure a Serviceguard package to monitor an Oracle database server.
This product consists of a source ‘rpm’ file, which after installation, will enable a
Serviceguard for Linux (SG/Linux) package to provide high availability for an Oracle
database server application and a (single) configured listener. It works as a subsystem
under SG/Linux core software to provide functions for starting, stopping, and
monitoring the Oracle server and listener in a cluster environment.
The following version of the Serviceguard for Linux Oracle Toolkit is now being made
available:
Product T2376A - version A.03.01 - software and license
Unless otherwise stated, this toolkit supports ALL hardware supported by Serviceguard
for Linux. Refer to Table 1-1 for the supported Serviceguard version and Linux
Distribution.
NOTE: Version A.03.01 of the Linux Oracle Toolkit only supports LEGACY packages
and does not support MODULAR packages available in Serviceguard version A.11.18
and later.
This product is being released for use with the Linux operating system and Serviceguard
for Linux. The following table provides the list of supported revisions:
NOTE: Novell/SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 and 10 are subsequently referred to
as SLES 9 and SLES 10.
