daemon. When the database package tries to unmount
the package volume groups, it will fail because the CSS
daemon will still be running from the file system where
the package volume group is mounted.
Resolution: The Oracle Toolkit README has been
changed to state, “Oracle 10g binaries should not reside
in a shared file system to use Oracle 10g with
Serviceguard in a non-CFS configuration.
NOTE Refer to the README file of Oracle Toolkit for
supported Oracle configurations for both 10g and 9i in
a Serviceguard environment.
Defect Number Problem and Resolution
SR:8606411340
(JAGaf71205) Problem: haoracle.mon exits unexpectedly, when a
command that contains the name of any monitored
process is issued. This is because the ECMT currently
checks for the names of all those processes, which
contain the names of the Oracle processes to be
monitored by the Oracle package.
Resolution: The monitoring script, haoracle.mon has
been modified to check for the exact match of the
Oracle process to be monitored.
