NOTE: The disk or storage device must be available to all the cluster nodes that are configured
to run the Sybase ASE database instances.

This attribute defines the Sybase root directory location where the Sybase ASE products are
installed. This attribute must be set for sourcing SYBASE ENV variables and Sybase ASE
instance to start.
INSTALL_HOME
This attribute cannot be modified online.
For example:
tkit/sybase/ase/INSTALL_HOME /opt/sybase
This attribute defines the ASE directory.ASE_INSTALL_PATH
It defines the full path for directory under the INSTALL_HOME directory where the Sybase
products are installed.
You must set this attribute with proper value for ASE instance to start. Install different versions
of Sybase ASE on different directory paths.
This attribute cannot be modified online.
For example:
tkit/sybase/ase/ASE_INSTALL_PATH /opt/sybase/ASE-15_0
This attribute defines the Sybase Open Client server directory.OCS_INSTALL_PATH
This is the directory where the Sybase OCS products are installed. The path defined in the
attribute must be a full path of directory including the directory name itself. The bin directory
inside this directory must contain the isqll command binary file. You must set this SYBASE
ENV variable for Sybase ASE instance to start.
This attribute cannot be modified online.
For example:
tkit/sybase/ase/OCS_INSTALL_PATH /opt/sybase/OCS-15_0
This attribute defines the console log file which is used for logging Sybase ASE related
messages from Sybase. You must set this attribute for logging Sybase ASE message logging.
CONSOLE_LOGFILE
For example:
tkit/sybase/ase/CONSOLE_LOGFILE /opt/sybase/ASE-15_0/install/log
This attribute defines the Linux user name of Sybase ASE Administrator.ADMIN_NAME
This user name is used to start, stop, and health check of Sybase ASE using the /bin/su
command.
This attribute cannot be modified online.
For example:
tkit/sybase/ase/ADMIN_NAME sybase
This attribute defines the user name of Sybase ASE user to connect to Sybase instance through
an Open Client server's TDS protocol.
USER_NAME
The default value is sa.
For example:
tkit/sybase/ase/USER_NAME sa
This attribute defines the Sybase ASE instance name, which uniquely identifies a Sybase
ASE instance.
INSTANCE_NAME
This attribute cannot be modified online.
For example:
tkit/sybase/ase/INSTANCE_NAME ASESERVER1
