Managing the Sybase toolkit
The Sybase toolkit integrates and runs the SAP Sybase ASE or RS instance in the SG/LX environment.
It allows you to start, stop, and monitor the Sybase ASE, Sybase RS, or DR Agent instances.
Cluster verification for Sybase toolkit
Cluster verification is a proactive mechanism to identify cluster inconsistencies that adversely affect
toolkit package failover to an adaptive node. You can verify the Sybase toolkit package by using
the cmcheckconf -P <pkgnew.conf> command. If there is any inconsistency, the command
logs an appropriate error or warning messages on the console.
To verify Sybase toolkit package for ASE, RS, and DRA modules:
Verify that the Administrator user exists.
If administrator user does not exist on the package nodes, then the following message is
logged:
