Configuring Clusters with Serviceguard Manager
You can configure clusters and packages in Serviceguard Manager. You must have root
(UID=0) access to the cluster nodes.
Starting Serviceguard Manager
Follow the directions in the Release Notes for your version of Serviceguard for Linux to
start the Serviceguard Manager. Then select a cluster, node, or package, and use the
drop-down menus below the “Serviceguard Manager” banner to navigate to the task
you need to do.
Use Serviceguard Manager’s built-in help to guide you through the tasks; this manual
will tell you if a task can be done in Serviceguard Manager but does not duplicate the
help.
Configuration Roadmap
This manual presents the tasks you need to perform in order to create a functioning HA
cluster using Serviceguard. These tasks are shown in Figure 3.
