Planning and Documenting an HA Cluster
Package Configuration Planning
Chapter 4134
For these filesystem types, a logical volume must be
built on an LVM volume group. Logical volumes can be
entered in any order, regardless of the type of storage
group that is used.
A gfs file system can be configured using only the
fs_name, fs_directory, and fs_mount_opt
parameters; see the configuration file for an example.
Additional rules apply for gfs as explained in Chapter
6 under fs_type (see page 213).
pev_ Specifies a package environment variable that can be
passed to external_pre_script, external_script,
or both, by means of the cmgetpkgenv (1m) command.
More details in Chapter 6, under pev_ (see page 214).
external_pre_script
The full pathname of an external script to be executed
before volume groups and disk groups are activated
during package startup, and after they have been
deactivated during package shutdown (that is,
effectively the first step in package startup and last
step in package shutdown).
More details in Chapter 6, under
external_pre_script (see page 215). See also
About External Scripts” on page 122.
external_script
The full pathname of an external script to be executed
after IP addresses are assigned but before services are
started during package startup, and after services are
halted but before IP addresses are removed during
package shutdown.
More details in Chapter 6, under external_script
(see page 215). See also“About External Scripts” on
page 122.
