Support for HP 3PAR Remote Copy replication in Continentalclusters
HP 3PAR Remote Copy replication is supported with Continentalclusters B.01.00.00 and Metrocluster
with 3PAR Remote Copy for Linux B.01.00.00. For more information, see Continentalclusters for

Support for Serviceguard features
Support for Serviceguard A.11.20.xx
NOTE: A.11.20.xx refers to Serviceguard version A.11.20.00 or A.11.20.10.
Metrocluster for Linux supports HP Serviceguard version A.11.20.xx. All the HP Serviceguard
configuration restrictions are also applicable to Metrocluster. All the features available with
Serviceguard A.11.20.xx are supported in a Metrocluster configuration unless explicitly stated.
IMPORTANT: In a Metrocluster environment, the cmeval tool cannot be used to evaluate the
replication status and the changes to the Metrocluster package parameters.
Support for failover polices site_preferred and site_preferred_manual
Metrocluster for Linux supports Serviceguard failover policies site_preferred and
site_preferred_manual. These failover policies are supported for failover packages configured in
a Metrocluster with sites defined in the Serviceguard cluster configuration file.

Support for persistent reservations
Metrocluster for Linux supports configuring persistent reservations (PR) in Metrocluster packages to
control access to LUNs. For more information on persistent reservation, see Managing HP

NOTE: Starting from Serviceguard for Linux version A.11.20.10, the support for site_preferred
