Installing Serviceguard Extension for SAP on Linux
Serviceguard Extension for SAP on Linux has to be installed on all nodes of the cluster.
NOTE: When installing from the SGeSAP/LX CD, use the SLES9 file access path to install on SLES10, and
similarly use the RH4 file access path to install on RH5 or RH5.1.
Use the rpm tool to install to the staging location.
For SGeSAP/LX Integrity (T2392AA) on Itanium SUSE Linux the command is:
rpm -ihv
<cdmnt>/SLES9/rpms/sgesap/sgesap-toolkit-A.02.00-0.product.suse.ia64.rpm
For SGeSAP/LX Integrity (T2392AA) on Itanium REDHAT Linux the command is:
rpm -ihv
<cdmnt>/RH4/rpms/sgesap/sgesap-toolkit-A.02.00-0.product.redhat.ia64.rpm
For SGeSAP/LX (T1227AA) on x86-64 SUSE Linux the command is:
rpm -ihv
<cdmnt>/SLES9/rpms/sgesap/sgesap-toolkit-A.02.00-0.product.suse.x86_64.rpm
For SGeSAP/LX (T1227AA) on x86-64 REDHAT Linux the command is:
rpm -ihv
<cdmnt>/RH4/rpms/sgesap/sgesap-toolkit-A.02.00-0.product.redhat.x86_64.rpm
Additional manual steps will be needed to integrate the product with your SAP environment before it can
