Single-instance database clustering support is included for:
• ORACLE RDBMS 10gR2 and 11gR2
• IBM DB/2 9.5, 9.7, and 10.1
• SAP Sybase ASE 15.7
• SAP MAXDB 7.5 - 7.9
• SAP Livecache 7.5 - 7.9
Hardware requirements
All hardware requirements for HP Serviceguard apply. All servers used need to be certified by
SAP.
The supported architecture is X86_64 (64 bit).
Installing SGeSAP on Linux
HP provides a public key and rpm signatures that allow to optionally verify authenticity and integrity
of the product rpm before installation. For additional instructions on how to do this, see
Read_Before_Installation.txt file on the product media.
NOTE: Ensure that HP Serviceguard for Linux A.11.20.00 and the HP Serviceguard NFS toolkit
A.03.03 are installed on all the systems of the cluster before installing SGeSAP .
As root user install Serviceguard Extension for SAP using the below command:
rpm -ihv \
<cdmnt>/<distro>/serviceguard-extension-for-sap-A.06.00.00-0.<distro2>.`x86_64`.rpm
