What’s New in A.11.16.07/8
The following are new features or options available in this release:
• Support for SUSE SLES10.
• VG activation protection for LVM2. When enabled, this function uses
LVM2 “tagging” to to help prevent accidental activation of a
package’s volume group on nodes that are not allowed to run that
package. For more information, see “Enabling VG Activation
Protection” in Chapter 5 of Managing HP Serviceguard for Linux,
Sixth Edition.

What’s new in this edition of the Release Notes
• The installation instructions under “Installing HP Serviceguard for
Linux” on page 23 have been updated.
• The section “Multipath for Storage” on page 22 has been updated to
clarify the use of the QLogic driver, the multipath function in md
(using mdadm), and future updates in this area.
