Serviceguard for Linux Version A.11.16 Release Notes
Known Problems and Workarounds
Chapter 1 61
JAGaf41625: Failure to access the locklun device is
reported as a lock denied.
What is the problem? Any failed attempts to access the locklun device
for the purposes of obtaining a lock, will be reported as a lock denied.
For example if the locklun device is unavailable (cable disconnected
or other such reason), and an attempt to obtain the lock will fail. This
is correct behavior; however it will be reported in the log as a lock
denied, when in reality it should have been reported as a device
unavailable.
What is the workaround? There is no workaround.
JAGaf14645: cmprovider syntax error if pkg name
contains '('
What is the problem? If special characters are used in package
names, this will break the intended package name as it is seen by
Serviceguard Manager.
What is the workaround? The workaround is to not configure any
packages with special characters such as "(,)" in the package names.
JAGaf45808: SGMgr 4.02 FR property sheets never
show data
What is the problem? In attempting to modifying the package
configuration for package pkgjb the following error is seen:
Error: Unable to copy file to hasupt22: Input/output error
Error: Unable to copy file to hasupt21: Input/output error
Error: A temporary configuration file ($SGCONF/cmclconfig.tmp)
cannot be written to disk on one or more nodes: Permission denied
Error: Unable to copy file to hasupt22: Input/output error
Error: Unable to copy file to hasupt21: Input/output error
Error: A temporary configuration file ($SGCONF/cmclconfig.tmp)
cannot be removed from one or more nodes: Permission denied
Error: Unable to apply the configuration change: Permission denied.
Check the syslog file(s) for additional information.
